These are the terms and conditions (the “Terms”) which will apply to your purchase of supplements, and other goods (“Goods”) from our website at Hearcareclinic.ie (the “Website”) These Terms form the basis of a legally binding contract between Health Essentials and you. Please read the Terms carefully before accepting them and buying anything from the Website. We reserve the right to change the Terms under which the Website and the Goods are provided. Any such change will be effective to all new orders once included in the text of these Terms and published on the website. You should check the Terms posted on this Website periodically to ensure that you are aware of and comply with the current version.
Information about the Website and the Goods
The Website and the information on it has been produced with the best interests of customers in mind. However, the information contained on our Website and product pages may contain inaccuracies or typographical errors, for which we accept no liability. We will try and make sure that all information on the Website including the description of the Goods and listed prices are accurate and correct at all times. However, mistakes do happen. We will try to resolve all information errors on the Website as soon as reasonably possible and if we reasonably think that such an error has affected your purchase of Goods we will try to let you know. However, because we take these steps we will not be liable to you for any error on the Website.
Separate notices and disclaimers apply to your use of the Website. By accepting these Terms you also agree to the notices and disclaimers that are set out elsewhere on the Website.
The information on the Website should be used for guideline purposes only and should not be considered as medical advice or used to self-diagnose. We do not recommend the use of vitamin supplements, homoeopathy, herbal products or any products purchased from Health Essentials in place of qualified medical advice. We recommend checking with your medical practitioner before taking any of our products, especially when taking prescription or other long-term medication. The products on the Website are not intended for purchase to cure or treat or prevent any ailment or illness and results are not guaranteed for any weight management products. Care should be taken when treating children, during pregnancy, or any ongoing disease or illness and we recommend you seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional. Your use of any information or materials on the Website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through the Website meet your specific requirements. It is important that you read and understand the label/packaging of any product you purchase from Health Essentials before consumption or use. The onus is on you to ensure you are satisfied to consume the purchased product.
The sale of non-prescription medicines is regulated by The Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland. As required by legislation, a record of each transaction relating to such products is retained for a period of 2 years.
Orders can be made online at times that are convenient to you. However please note that orders will only be processed during normal business hours Monday to Friday. Health Essentials reserves the right to refuse to sell or supply goods to any person or company for any reason.
You make an offer to purchase product(s) from Heart Care Clinic (your “Order”) by completing the ordering process on the Website. Your Order only constitutes an offer to purchase goods and does not form a binding contract until accepted by Heart Care Clinic. On receipt of your Order, we will send an order acknowledgement to the email address you provided during the ordering process.
When payment for goods and delivery charges if any, have been processed we will send a confirmation order dispatch email and the sending of that email makes the contract between Heart Care Clinics and you. If a product is not available we will include details of the unavailable product in the order dispatch email. You will not be charged for a product that is not available. An order is accepted by Health Essentials only when payment in full to include delivery charges has been processed and received and the Goods have been dispatched.
Promotions and Discounts
Online offers and promotions are generally not available in our stores unless otherwise indicated. Store offers and promotions are not generally available online unless otherwise indicated. Discounted products cannot be further discounted by using a discount promotion or code or otherwise.
Payment and Pricing
All prices are displayed in Euros and include VAT at the applicable rate. Delivery charges if applicable are not included. If you are purchasing with a non-euro credit card the exchange rate shown on your statement is set by your card provider and not by Heart Care Clinic. Heart Care Clinic reserves the right to change prices without prior notice and to withdraw from sale any products advertised online at any stage without prior notification.
Credit Card Security
Transactions are processed by Stripe (Click here for more information) and PayPal (Click here for more information). All transactions are highly encrypted and your card details are never passed on to Heart Care Clinic or any other party.
You are responsible for ensuring that your login, password and all other details in relation to your account are correct and remain confidential at all times.
Postage is free to any destination in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland & the UK (subject to a max weight of 25kg). We use an Post for all deliveries and a signature will be required on delivery.
We will dispatch your order within 1-2 working days of receipt of your order, once the item is in stock. Deliveries within Ireland are mostly delivered next-day after dispatch though please allow up to two days after you receive your email dispatch notification.
In the unlikely event that the item you ordered is not in stock, we will contact you and let you know the expected delivery date. If you decide not to persist with your order, we will cancel the order and issue a full refund. Feel free to query your order at any stage at firstname.lastname@example.org

Cancelling Orders & Returns
Cancelling your Order
You may cancel your order by notifying us in writing at any time up to 10 days after your products have been delivered. The notification should state your order number and reason for cancellation. If you cancel your order after we have dispatched the products then you must return the products to us in a securely wrapped parcel to Heart Care Clinic, Kilmessan, Navan, Co. Meath. The products should be returned in good condition and unopened. We recommend the use of recorded delivery service. You can no longer cancel your order once you have opened the product containers or used the products. However, your statutory rights regarding quality will remain unaffected. Health Essentials will refund the purchase price to the payment card used at the time of purchase once the Goods are returned. Postage costs will be refunded in full in the case of incorrect or damaged orders but not where you have elected to return goods for any other reason. Nothing under these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights.
Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered; if we do not deliver to your area; or if one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.
If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
Heart Care Clinic will not be responsible for the performance of any obligations under these terms and conditions in the case of an event outside of our reasonable control including but not limited to strikes, lockouts, failure of third parties systems or networks acts of God, fire, earthquake, storm, flood or other natural disaster civil unrest, acts of terrorism deliberate sabotage of or malicious damage to equipment or data or damage to or destruction of premises.
Heart Care Clinics warrants that the goods supplied are of satisfactory quality reasonably fit for all the purposes for which these goods are normally supplied.
Heart Care Clinic does not accept liability for any loss (direct, indirect or consequential) which may arise as a result of the use or the purchase of goods from this website or from reliance on information contained on this website or in respect of any error or omission, except in relation to death or personal injury caused by our negligence. This does not include or limit in any way our liability for any matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude or attempt to exclude our liability.
You agree and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts for the determination of any disputes.
